Canada-Brazil Smart Grid Match-Making Mission

 

ISTPCanada (together with national and regional partners) organized and hosted the Canada-Brazil Smart Grid Match-Making Mission with events in Toronto, Ontario and Vancouver, BC in early December 2011. The mission convened more than 200 senior leaders from the smart grid industry, utility companies, academia and government from across Canada, Brazil and Chile. This included:

  • 60 companies from across Canada
  • More than 30 distinguished delegates from Brazil under the leadership of FAPESP (the State of São Paulo Research Foundation) and
  • 10 guest delegates from Chile, a key trade partner and fellow nation committed to the creation and adoption of smart grid technologies and energy network
