Technology Matchmaking

ISTPCanada hosts technology matchmaking activities to help broker new relationships between small- to-medium-sized corporations (SMEs) in Canada and partner countries. These events provide participants with the opportunity to gather and exchange information; network with and source potential partners, customers or prospective employees; and promote their research, organization or innovation interests.

The emerging relationships often lead to the development of collaborative R&D projects, business partnerships and joint ventures that benefit both countries. ISTPCanada has worked with a variety of organizations to deliver matchmaking events, including the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) of the National Research Council (NRC), the Health Technology Exchange (HTX) and the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE).
